Celebrity Solstice

The Celebrity Solstice is the first new build for Celebrity in six years. Everyone is very excited. She is a beautiful , sleek and modern looking. This is the  first time that a ship was designed by an all female design team. This carefully selected  group of ladies included an interior designer, a high level executive, a mom and a frequent cruiser. They did a fabulous job. Staterooms are noticeable larger and they have spacious bathrooms and showers. There is even a shelf in the shower for ladies to shave their legs. And, of course, more storage. 85% of the cabins have verandas, and 90% have ocean views. As a result there will not be many inside cabins- for the kids! The pool deck is gorgeous It is classy, modern and sleek with the perfect system for shading passengers from the sun's rays. The aqua spa is equally exquisite and expansive in its design. New to Celebrity are "Aqua-Class Staterooms". These staterooms, adjacent to the spa, include extra spa ammenties for those passengers looking to combine their cruise with a more serious spa experience. Throughout the Solstice, there is an underlying tranquility set off by modern and minimalistic touches and a relaxing color scheme. It all looks a bit "South Beach" to me, and that is a good thing.
